Book Reports

Reading outside of school is an important part of your education.  Although there will be time during the school week to engage in independent reading, it is my expectation as your teacher that you read 20 minutes each day after school.  These monthly book reports prove that you are reading outside of the classroom and understand the major elements of a story: characters, setting, plot, and solution.

Each book activity will be discussed in class early in the month, but it is your responsibility to complete them during your free time in school or at home.  One book report is expected every month from every student - no exceptions.  I will give you specific due dates for your book report each month when I explain the activity to you in class.
